What we do

Removing every barrier between a child and school

Poverty keeps children out of the classroom in many ways — unpaid fees, missing uniforms, empty stomachs. We address each one.

Dignity you can see

From taped-up shoes to a full uniform

In the winter of 2024, 30 pupils at Mgebiseni and St Philomena primary schools received brand-new school shoes — many had been walking to school barefoot in the cold. The handover was covered in the national press.

It is one moment among many. Behind each uniform is a child who can now walk into class with confidence, meet school requirements, and stay in education.

Stories of change

Real lives, documented change

Thandeka's journey

OGKCO has committed to covering Thandeka's Form V school fees in 2026 — a long-term promise that will carry her through to the end of secondary school.

Back in the classroom

27 children have returned to school after being out of education for up to four years because of unpaid fees. Ongoing support keeps them there.

120 uniforms, 120 children

Each uniform removes one of the most common reasons children in Eswatini miss school — and lets them attend with dignity and confidence.

Openness matters

Small charity, full transparency

We are a volunteer-run organisation, and we want you to see exactly where your support goes.

Published bank details

Our Standard Bank, FNB and Mobile Money details are public, with a bank-issued confirmation letter available on the donate page.

Documented beneficiaries

Every one of our 164 beneficiaries is individually recorded — who they are, where they live, and what support they receive.

Independent press coverage

Our shoe and uniform distributions have been reported in Eswatini's national newspapers — the clippings are in our gallery.

Join us in making a difference

Your support keeps a child in school — E400 buys a complete uniform, and E500 can cover a year of school fees.
